For me I think currently USA is the strongest in both category. But China will certainly surpass them in future.

Well in terms of money (economy) i think the strongest country is America.

I think in no time, China will become the strongest in terms of economy. It's only matter of time.

At this time it is definately the USA in terms of economy and military. It is possible that a couple of other nations could come close to, or possible, pass the USA in terms of the economy. With regard to the military, I think it is not likely that any other country will pass the USA for some time to come as it takes time to build up a good military, with the equipment, machinery as well as manpower that is.

ya, agree with you there, USA is very strong in military background. They got lots of engineers for that. Besides that, i think Russia is also very strong in military area. During USSR time, they were among the strongest nation in the world, but over the years, their military performance have been decreasing.
